Oh noes! I've been tagged! #3

This Oh noes! I've been tagged! is becoming something of a series and I have to say, I feel very flattered that people think of me to nominate me for these tags. I don't want anyone to feel like I don't care because I take a while to post them or because I put them together like this. I love being nominated and I enjoy answering the different questions or coming up with random facts about myself etc. So once again I thank you for these lovely nominations.

I was nominated by the lovely Amanda of Tea Time Tails for the Cute Blog Award. Please go check her awesome blog out! This is a new one I've never been nominated for before. So thank you very much, Amanda.

The Rules:

- Thank the person that nominated me.
- Answer the following questions.
- Tell my readers something new about me.
- Nominate my own favourite blogs.

1) What is your “go to” brand of makeup?

I don't really have a 'go to' brand of make up. Anything half decent that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

2) What is your favorite fashion trend?

I don't really follow trends and such. I've always liked the more grunge/rock/gothic side of things. I wear a lot of black. I also like comfort above all else. I tend to wear casual clothes most of the time and depending on the occasion dress it up or down depending on what shoes and jewellery I wear.

3) What is your favorite dessert?

Always go for warm sticky toffee pudding. Preferably with fresh cream rather than ice cream.

4) What is your favorite color?

Blue.

5) What is your middle name?

I don't have one. I wish I did though. I had thought about having Blue or Bloo made my middle name.

6) What is the last song you listened to?

Your Makeup Is Terrible by Alaska Thunderfuck

7) Dogs or cats?

Eh, being the mummy to both I couldn't possibly choose! What I will say though is I hope to get another dog in the future but have no plans for more cats. It's too stressful letting them out etc.

Something new about me:

I've dropped out of tech four times. Two art courses, a GCSE biology course and a jewellery making course.

I was nominated for the One Lovely Blog Award by the awesome Charlene of Tartanmouth. Please do check her out! I've chatted to her a bit and she's just lovely. And her guinea pig, Cotton, is beyond adorable! Thank you Charlene for this nomination.

The One Lovely Blog Award rules:

- Thank and link back to the person who nominated you.
- Add the One Lovely Blog Award logo to your post or blog.
- Share seven facts about yourself.
- Nominate 15 bloggers you admire and inform nominees by commenting on their blog.

Seven Facts:
  1. I still love making friendship bracelets at almost twenty five.
  2. I've never wished I wasn't disabled but I have wished I had a different disability or I had certain abilities I do not, such as dancing.
  3. I get beard envy. Like, facial hair just seems like a really fun thing to be able to grow.
  4. If I wasn't disabled and could only have one type of pet for the rest of my life I would choose rats. As a disabled person, it would be dogs.
  5. I'll be a quarter of a century next month.
  6. I used the term 'busticated my head' on the television.
  7. My favourite shower songs are If I Die Young, All Or Nothing and When You Believe.

I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Amy from Pursuing Bears and Rebecca of The Clumsy Beauty. Please check out their blogs! Thank you girls for the nominations. I'm going to answer all the questions, but only give four more facts about myself to add to the seven above as it's hard for me to think of things everyone doesn't know already! I hope that's okay. On with the questions!

The Rules:

- Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog.
- Answer the questions given to you by the person who nominated you.
- Nominate 11 people with less than 200 followers.
- Write 11 questions for your nominees.
- Inform your nominees of their nomination by commenting on their blog.

Amy's Questions:

1. If you could invite anyone to a dinner party, dead and/or fictional people included, who would you have as your guests? (You can pick up to four guests.)

This is a difficult one and I'll probably be sitting doing something later and someone will come pop into my head and I'll think "Oh I should have put them!" But right now my gut instinct is to go with Alaska Thunderfuck, Adore Delano, Bianca Del Rio and Courtney Act.

2. If you were Meggie from the Inkheart trilogy by Cornelia Funke and could write yourself into any book, what would it be?

Uhm. I'm not familiar with this series so I wouldn't have a clue. Sorry.

3. What’s your earliest memory?

I feel like it's when I was getting my muscle biopsy when I was three but I might be mixing it up with when I was getting teeth out. If it isn't the muscle biopsy it would probably be being in hospital getting the tendons in my ankles released when I was four.

4. What’s your biggest regret?

Basically everything I did as a pet owner when I was too young or ignorant to know any better. Too small pet cages, not cleaning them out regularly enough, not fleaing and worming them regularly. That kind of stuff. Thank goodness for the maturity and the internet I have these days.

...Also not going to Belfast Giants games for over ten years.

5. What song best describes your life at the moment?

DTF by Adore Delano (kidding... sorta)

6. Who was your favourite teacher at school and why?

Probably Mr Boal my history teacher. He didn't take shit from anyone and people were terrified of him. He was a great teacher though, which I was thankful for because I love history.

7. If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?

You'd think this would be easy for me to pick, but I really have no idea. Perhaps a Meerkat. I love their family bond etc.

8. What was the last film you watched?

I think it was Silver Linings Playbook.

9. If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?

Go places you're supposed to pay into for free.

10. What’s your greatest guilty pleasure?

Spending a lot of money when I store to myself I would start saving.

11. What’s your favourite word of all time?

Tea.

Rebecca's Questions:

1. What is your favourite part about being a blogger?

I love the community and getting to know the people I have through it. It's been surreal having people come up to me and tell me they read it and actually enjoy it. But I also love that it motivates me to get out more than I used to. Live life to the fullest.

2. What is your favourite blog post you've ever written?

Gosh, I couldn't single out one. I've written about some awesome times. I did however post some of my favourites on my Blogiversary post, which you can check out here.

3. What is your favourite blog post you've ever read?

Another difficult question. I read quite a few blogs and it's hard to single out one post. Sorry...

4. Where is your favourite place to be?

At ice hockey games with my sister Eva! Or spending time at home with Eva and our pets.

5. Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Hopefully in my own place with my pets. Hopefully maybe in a relationship with Mr Right.

6. Favourite place to shop?

Pets At Home/any pet store and Smyths Toy Store/any toy store.

7. Who was the last person you spoke to?

Eva and my mum.

8. Do you spend most of your time with or without make up on?

Without make up on.

9. What was your new years resolution and are you sticking to it?

Manage my money better, be more healthy and better blog management. The first two died a death but the latter is still going pretty well.

10. Who inspires you?

Eva inspires me a lot. So do all my favourite drag queens and a lot of my sporting heroes like Kevin Rempel.

11. List three of your most valuable possessions?

My laptop, my iPhone and my electric wheelchair.

Four Facts:
  1. If I was only able to sing one soundtrack well, I would choose RENT.
  2. We once had loads of pets like mice, hamsters and rabbits etc we kept in our garage. As kids we held a talent show in our back garden for our parents and neighbours to come see and painted Tipping Down Farm on the door of the garage so people could go in and see the animals after the show.
  3. When I was four my older sister and I got hamsters. Before leaving the room she made me promise not to put them in together. Can you guess what I did...? She was horrified when she came back and I exclaimed happily that they were playing. They were not playing.
  4. I'm double jointed.
And there you have it! Surely this covers all you've ever wanted to know about me. I should just give up blogging now! As I've done before in one of these posts, I've opted out of nominating anyone. I'm sorry if any of you feel that's wrong but I just get anxious about nominating people because I don't remember who I've nominated before etc. Anyway! I hope you enjoyed my answers and facts.
