Tofu Cute Haul #3

"Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be."
Grandma Moses

Welcome to my mini Tofu Cute haul post. Yes, I'm a little bit obsessed with this store. I have two other Tofu Cute haul posts if you want to check them out. The first can be found here and the second is here. Eva was making an order so I figured I would take the opportunity to get a few things too.

Ayn Rand

Today I am making a public service announcement.

Don't get on my bad side.

Highlights: 2015 Edition

"If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud."
Emile Zola

This post is a little overdue but here it is finally! My 2015 highlights. It was a little harder to narrow down my highlights to 10 as I did in my 2014 highlights, so this year I have 12! There are probably more but these are the ones that featured on my blog. At the end of 2015 I felt like I hadn't done anything of note all year, but I guess I was wrong. 2015 wasn't bad at all, I hope 2016 lives up to it. Now on to my highlights. Enjoy!

YouTube Spotlight | 1MILLION Dance Studio

"Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching."
Satchel Paige

*This channel has been terminated. Sorry or any inconvenience. I will update the videos and links at a later date if the channel is reinstated.

Welcome to yet another new series that will pop up every now and again. This series was inspired by a YouTube channel I happened to come across a few days ago while procrastinating. I fell a bit in love with this channel and felt like I couldn't not share it and therefore this YouTube Spotlight series was born! It'll just pop up every once in a while when I come across a YouTube channel that I particularly like. It will also be a good way to give a shout out to some of my Vlogger buddies.

My Week In Words | #3 2016

"I think there should be laughs in everything. Sometimes, it's a slammed door, a pie in the face or just a recognition of our frailties."
Alan Rickman

Welcome to my week in words. A slightly more productive week when it comes to blogging. I even have this post up on the day it should be! I'm glad to be back on track a little. Now I just have to make my weeks a little more interesting to read. This week's post covers from Sunday 10th to Saturday 6th of January. Enjoy!

"Time is what we want most, but what we use worst."
William Penn

Welcome to this edition of My Week In Words. The first post that is solely 2016! I can barely believe it. I feel like 2016 is off to a little bit of a boring start but hopefully it will pick up and these posts will be a little more interesting to read. This post covers from Sunday 3rd to Saturday 9th of January. Enjoy!

Television | My Latest Series #2

"Television has brought back murder into the home - where it belongs."
Alfred Hitchcock

Today's post is about the latest television series I've been watching. This series started originally with the post My Latest Series #1. Some of these shows will stay with me for a long time and I can't recommend them enough. If you have any shows you recommend I give a go please tell me in the comments! Perhaps it'll feature in the next instalment.

My Week In Words | #1 2015/16

"Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right."
Oprah Winfrey

Welcome to the tail end of 2015 and beginning of 2016. I know this is a little overdue but better late than never. I still can't quite believe 2015 has been and gone. At first I couldn't really think of anything particularly momentous when I looked back at the year just passed but given time I realised it was a pretty good one. I hope 2016 is just as good if not better. I hope it's off to a great start for everyone. Anyway, this post covers from Sunday 27th of December 2015 to Saturday 2nd of January 2015. Enjoy!

Operation Independence Update

"Independence is happiness."
Susan B. Anthony

It's been quite a while since I've talked about my quest to live independently from my parents and I finally have an update! I didn't want to post about this before anything was confirmed as I didn't want to put the scud on it. (Do you guys know that saying?) I'm one of those people who doesn't really believe something is going to happen or get excited about it until I'm living it. It can be frustrating for others but I guess it's a defence mechanism. I hate disappointment. And while living independently is still quite a while off yet and by no means plain sailing from here on out I feel like I can share this little development.

My Christmas In Words | #52.2 2015

"A lovely thing about Christmas is that it's compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together."
Garrison Keillor

I was hoping I would have this post up before the new year but here I am, on the 4th of January, posting about Christmas. Probably the last thing anyone wants to be reading but never the less, here I am. I had a wonderful Christmas, even if a little strange. In some ways it felt like a goodbye. The end of an era. Perhaps my last living with my parents. The last Jann will be able to make it home. And the first year my grandparents haven't been well enough to visit on Christmas morning. Still, I tried not to dwell on any of that and was thankful that we had such a wonderful era to come to and end and at twenty five I'm lucky to have held on to it as long as I have. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year. I hope 2016 will be good to you! And that you don't mind that I'll be writing about 2015 for a little bit longer. This post covers from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th of December. Enjoy!
