"To this day, I have the most fond memories of some of my old toys."
Michael Keaton
It was my birthday back in April. I turned the grand old age of twenty six. To celebrate my sister and I went to Belfast and had a toy shopping spree. We grabbed lunch and then headed to the shops, hitting the Disney Store, Forbidden Planet and Build A Bear. We both had a treat yourself day and splashed out as we won't be able to do it as often now we've moved out and have to adult more. So an abundance of toys were bought! Cue showing them off...

The blind boxes we got in Forbidden Planet were to share between Eva and I, so only half were mine. I wrote posts on what I got in them on my toy blog at the time but I may move those posts over on to this blog at some point. I was so excited to find them as it was the first time I'd found them in stock. That's why we went all out and bought as many as we could.
In regards to the cost of all the toys I treated myself to some and Eva treated me to others. Eva also treated herself and I also bought her some. The day wasn't about presents for me for my birthday, it was about the experience and what a fun experience we had!
What do you think the cutest thing I bought is?
It looks like you had a fabulous birthday!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Aristocats Tsum Tsum plate! I have an Alice Animators doll, she is adorable! I love your Ariel too!
I still have my original Tenderheart bear from the 80s! I didn't know they sold them in Build-a-Bear now though!
These are all so cool! Personal faves have to be the Lion King cup, Aristocats plate and Kidrobot AT but seems like you got lots of lovely things.
